On the 15th of October, NetCabo will launch two new Broadband products which will allow 1 and 2 Mbps (megabits per second) connections. These products are a sure record when it comes down to the navigational speed in Portugal.

For the first time in Portugal NetCabo will launch a Broadband Internet access of 1 and 2 Mbps, “NetCabo Mega” for residential areas and the Speed Pro+ for the professional market.

With NetCabo Mega, clients will be able to navigate at a speed of 1 Mbps per second which is almost double of the present 640 Mbps which are currently available.

The base monthly payment will be of 45,10 euros and includes an unlimited consumption at National level and 6 gigabytes for international downloads. For clients who navigate between 01h00 and 07h00 on an day of  the week, NetCabo has reserved a Mega surprise, downloads will be unlimited and will not count for the limits on international downloads. NetCabo Mega will also make available 30 e-mail boxes with 30 megabytes each and 30 MB for the creation of a homepage.

The professional market hasn’t been forgotten. Clients of Speed Pro+ will see their current velocity updated without any extra cost. The current Speed Pr+ 640 Kbps will be updated to 1 Mbps and those who have the current Speed Pro+ 1Mbps will be updated to 2 Mbps.

These services will be available as of the 15th of this month. The pre-adhesion campaign to the NetCabo Mega has already begun on www.netcabo.pt.
