APDC’s (Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications) 14th Communications Congress will take place from the 9th to the 11th of September. During these three days, challenges of information technology and the construction of a knowledgeable society will be discussed where the exchange of information and team work between society’s main players will be promoted.
What is the impact of the new technological platforms? What services will be highlighted? What are the new lifestyles? These will be some of the topics discussed as well as education and training.
As always, Portugal Telecom will be present at the 14th Congress which celebrates the APDC’s 20th anniversary. As an interested part and main player in the construction of the Information Society, various areas of the PT Group will also be present at this congress in order to contribute positively towards the exchange of information and ideas for the future.
The Executive Chairman o PT, Miguel Horta e Costa, PT’s Executive Administrator, Zeinal Bava and PT Comunicações Executive Administrator, José Graça Bau will also take part in this congress.
The Construction of the Information Society
The Portugal Telecom Group will demonstrate how it is dedicated to the construction of the Information Society, the steps it has taken and its plans for the future.
Parallel to this congress, there will be he Business Lounge which is a communications privileged space where operators, producers and service providers can present their solutions to visitors.
