The GSM Awards – an initiative of the GSM Association – nominated tmn as one of the five best companies for the best initiative of network quality.

The nomination derives from the CCSQM Project, a partnership with Tektronix, Inc.  This project, based on the Tektronix Orion and Beamer lines allows to identify and rectify service failures in real time thus allowing a pro-active management of the service rendered to tmn clients.

Considered one of the biggest international events connected to the telecommunications sector, this nomination amongst the best is undoubtedly, an important milestone for the largest mobile network operator in Portugal.

This 11th celebration of GSM Awards has 520 competitors and new categories.  One of the new awards is the Mobile Innovation Award, was created with the objective of encouraging small companies that develop new ideas important for the growth of the company.

The winners will be announced during the Gala dinner of the GSM World Congress, on 14th February in Barcelona and will count with the presence of the mobile industry leaders and representatives of government of many countries.
