Once again, PT marks its presence in world renowned 4x4 competition by affording support through TMN to driver Carlos Sousa, associated to the launch of exclusive/Dakar 2007 mobile contents. PT Wi-Fi is also advertising in the Merchandising Village prior to the start of the race, the Wi-Fi out of home campaign, free for all SAPO ADSL, Netcabo and Telepac ADSL clients
In the 11th consecutive year of sponsoring the driver Carlos Sousa, TMN associates itself to the Lisbon-Dakar 2007 and provides its clients with various exclusive contents throughout the race. SMS Warnings will allow to receive daily, first hand information related to the competition and well as how Carlos Sousa is doing. TMN clients can also count on the Carlos Sousa Rally and Dakar 2007 games for their mobile telephones.
So that clients can have a greater interactive with the race and the driver Carlos Sousa, TMN also launched two competitions.
The Dakar Fan Competition, which takes place until the 21st of January, consists in the accumulation of points through purchasing TMN Dakar contents (games and SMS Warnings) joined with the sending of tips which TMN clients are invited to give on who will be the winner and what Carlos Sousa’s classification will be in each phase of the Lisbon – Dakar rally.
The Challenge Dakar 2007 Competition which takes place in TMN stores until the 14th of January, challenges clients to play Dakar 2007, one of the mobile telephone games which TMN has available.
The first three winners of these two competitions will have the fantastic opportunity to do a real co-drive with Carlos Sousa himself, a memorable and unforgettable experience which TMN offers its clients. There will also be other interesting prizes for the first 15 runners-up of each competition.

Wi-Fi at Lisbon-Dakar
Be the fastest to navigate on Wireless Internet at the Lisbon-Dakar. PT Comunicações present at the Dakar
Once again, PT Comunicações is present at this event. They have set up at the PT Assistance Point during the 6th and 7th of January 2007, and operate from 09:00 to 23:00 at Gymnodesportivo in Portimão where a team is prepared to satisfy all requests of journalists and photographers.
