Portugal Telecom announced that its Board of Directors nominated Zeinal Bava, Deputy CEO of PT, for the positions of Executive Chairman of PT Portugal and of PT Comunicações, adding on to his current position as Executive Chairman of TMN following the resignation of Rodrigo Costa who occupied the positions of Deputy Chairman of PT and Executive chairman of the fixed network business
The Executive Chairman of PT, Henrique Granadeiro, announced that he will propose to the Board of Directors, after the Annual General Meeting for the approval of the financial statements, the nomination of Zeinal Bava as CEO of PT, and maintaining as Chairman of the Board. This way, PT will once again have a governance model with a Chairman of the Board and a Chairman of the Executive Commission.
The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude to Rodrigo Costa, who ceases functions today, for his work and excellent results obtained at PT.
