After the success of Benfica TV’s first broadcast, as 50% of Meo’s customers (over 100,000 homes) tuned channel 30 of this service and 69,000 people were connected to SAPO portal’s virtual stadium, Benfica TV and Meo associate themselves once again to transmit the Benfica vs Galatasaray match.
On 6 November at 7:30 PM, IPTV and Satellite Meo customers can watch the cost-free broadcast of UEFA Cup match at Luz Stadium, live and in exclusive, in position 30 of the grid.
Pursuing a strategy of delivery of multi-platform content and of consolidation of its presence with the Portuguese-speaking communities, Portugal Telecom, together with Sport Lisboa e Benfica, will transmit this match live on the SAPO portal – at http://estadiovirtual.sapo.pt/ - and on the national televisions of Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and Sao Tomé & Principe as well as on Cape Verde’s Zap TV.
It should also be recalled that on 18 December, Benfica TV will transmit UEFA Cup match Benfica vs Metalist.
