Set on consolidating its association with one of the top football clubs in the country, Sporting Clube de Portugal (SCP), TMN has just rolled out Sporting Mobile. It is a mobile communications service, associated with a pay-as-you-go mobile card, without obligatory top-ups. It has a unique tariff, the same to every network in Portugal: just 18.5 cent per minute for calls and 7.9 cent for texts.
Apart from tariffing advantages, subscribers to the new service will enjoy a 10% bonus in every top-up over the first six months. This fully tailor-made service ensures the display of the Sporting Mobile brand on fans’ mobiles.
Customers will be able to subscribe to the new service and still keep their current mobile number. At www.sporting.pt/sportingmobile, there is an area dedicated to the online control of the account and to the activation of services available.
Exclusive advantages for SCP members
Exclusively for Sporting Clube de Portugal members, 5% of every top-up on the Sporting Mobile card will be converted into points of the S3G network Loyalty Program for further conversion into products in the respective catalogue.
Besides, SCP members will benefit from three cost-free months of SCP’s services: Goals and Results by SMS and Goal Video by MMS. To enjoy these offers, SCP members will just have to call 707 20 44 and associate their Sporting Mobile number with their membership number.
Launch campaign
During the launch campaign, Sporting Mobile subscribers will benefit from SCP’s Goals and News by SMS alerts service over the first three months. Once this period comes to an end, to keep SCP’s Goals and Results by SMS alerts service, it is only necessary to top up the card at any Multibanco ATM or Payshop Agent. Sporting Mobile subscribers will be able to talk for free among themselves up to the end of February 2009.
Sporting Mobile products
Sporting Mobile’s commercial offering is composed of a pay-as-you-go card that costs only 10 Euro and contains 10 Euro airtime plus a 10% bonus on top-ups over the first six months.
Sporting Mobile is also associated with the exclusive launch of new Motorola EM325, a model presenting a number of features for those valuing entertainment in a mobile phone: 1.3 Mpix camera, Bluetooth, radio and mp3 reader.
In a unique initiative, this mobile phone is fully tailored to Sporting Mobile, featuring exclusive content (ring tone, wallpaper, screensaver, among others) and the laser recording of SCP’s logo on the back of the mobile phone.
