‘Mental’ TV series will arrive in Portugal one day after the world premiere in the United States on FOX. The national preview will take place at Meo’s VoD and Internet platforms – Meo VideoClub and http://www.meo.pt/ website respectively – as well as on FOX Mobile on 30 May. In Portugal, the premiere will take place next Monday, 1 July at 10:15 PM on FOX.

As an exclusive, Meo customers will be able to watch the first episode of ‘Mental’ at the Meo VideoClub or mental.meo.pt website at no extra cost. The Meo VideoClub will also make the remaining 12 episodes available along 12 weeks. The same will happen on FOX Mobile, as each episode will be made available every Friday, before the broadcast on the channel (Mondays at 10:15 PM).

The protagonists of ‘Mental’ are Chris Vance and Annabella Sciorra. The first season will be composed of 13 episodes and it is a co-production between FOX International Channels (FIC) and FOX Television Studios (FtvS).

‘Mental’: discover the secrets of the mind!

‘Mental’ follows the story of Dr. Jack Gallagher (Chris Vance), a dynamic, young and unorthodox psychiatrist who becomes director of the mental health services of a hospital in Los Angeles. In this hospital, he will have to reconcile his radical but effective methods of treatment with the conservativeness of Board Member Nora Skoff (Annbella Sciorra), with whom he shares a romantic past.

While facing complicated crises of his patients, Gallagher is capable of ‘plunging’ rapidly into the mind of his patients, not to solve their psychiatric disorders, but to understand the kind of people who they really are.
