Optical fibre has just arrived at Peniche beaches, a PT initiative, to enable the livecast of the competition via Internet at speeds up to 100Mbps.
Portugal Telecom has brought optical fibre to the beach to enable the livecast via Internet with speeds up to 100 Mbps and unmatched streaming quality of the Rip Curl Pro Search 2009, a TMN-sponsored event. Access http://live.ripcurl.com/ or http://www.tmn.pt/ to watch the daily rounds.
TMN’s Meo Mobile subscribers will also be able to watch the livecast of the competition as well as ESPN Brazil channel viewers.
Optical fibre has been deployed on Peniche beaches, which are also covered by TMN’ 3.5G network, enabling surf fans to watch every detail of the competition anyplace, be it via PC or mobile phone.
