Its name is Pond and it is Portugal’s first online content and social account aggregator: an innovative service to be launched soon by PT.
Created by SAPO, Pond represents a true revolution in terms of multi-platform offer. A Pond account, which only needs a valid email address, once created, will enable users to associate in a single account their different online accounts organised in three specific areas: UGC (User Generated Content) – SAPO Photos, SAPO Videos, Flickr, Picasa, Youtube – , Social Networking – Facebook – and blogging – Twitter, SAPO Blogs and Blogger. From a single point, the Pond account, which may be accessed from the different PT- provided platforms, it will become possible to filter, organise, search and manage the online universe in a centralised and simplified way.
Just like TMN Twitter and TMN Facebook services today, Pond will allow updating the different virtual social networks via texts, video messages and email in a uniform way. This service will allow the management of online profiles, the follow-up of the latest news and novelties of friends in a simpler way via mobile phone, TV-set (MEO service) or PC.
As of today Pond will undergo a range of tests carried out by a small number of users to be made available to the public at large during October.
In parallel with this launch, aiming to provide customers with the best tools to take advantage from applications in full mobility, PT’s mobile operator will kick off the TMN App Store, an application store for mobile phones, a simple click away.
Organised by category – sports, travel, games, fun, useful, among others – the TMN App Store contains hundreds of mobile applications, both cost-free and paid (through the monthly bill or directly from the credit of the TMN card), for every taste and type of usage – a practical tool and an access platform to the multimedia content world, in full mobility.

The TMN App Store may be accessed via PC on TMN’s website, at http://www.tmn.pt/, or via mobile phone through the internetnotelemovel portal, at m.tmn.pt.
