To mark this back to school period, TMN has consolidated its offer for young people by including access to virtual social network Facebook as part of the Moche tariff. It is worth recollecting that Moche is a group tariff launched by PT’s mobile operator in April 2008 that contributed to revolutionising communication among youngsters comprehending free calls, texts and video messages among Moche users. As of now Moche customers will thus be able to surf on the Facebook website cost-free via mobile phone.
Moche tariff customers will also be able to update their Facebook account via texts or video messages cost-free via TMN Facebook service. TMN Facebook is an innovative service developed in partnership by Sapo and launched by TMN that allows publishing personal content (photos, videos, among others) and updating the profile in full mobility via mobile phone.
With young people in mind, TMN has also presented its new mobile phones - Nokia 5530 XpressMusic and Samsung B3310 – which will have a ‘special by moche’ edition, a range of models with differentiating packaging and Moche-related design offering special features for younger targets.
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, a TMN-exclusive touch-screen mobile phone, costs €199.90 and allows access to the internet and to countless multimedia contents such as tunes, games and photos with just a simple touch on the screen. It also includes a 3.2 Mpixel camera, WiFi access, mp3 reader and FM radio. Featuring a thin and attractive design, the new Nokia targets virtual social networks and other entertainment content, includes 12GB of external memory enabling the storage of circa 4,000 tunes with two memory cards (8GB and 4GB).
The Samsung B3310, also a TMN exclusive, is a slide model with QWERTY keyboard, 2 Mpx camera with zoom, Bluetooth, mp3 reader and FM radio. Ideal for writing texts, instant messaging and virtual social networks such as Facebook, the new model costs €99.90.
Both models include a Moche card with €5 talktime (€2.5 initial credit + €2.5 on the first top-up) plus additional €5 for current TMN customers.
Media Campaign
The new ‘Moche TMN – Facebook’ campaign, created by TBWA/Lisbon to advertise the new Moche offer, will be on the air until 4 October on the following media: generalist and pay-TV, radio, press, internet, cinema and retail outlets.
The new TMN offer joins a wide range of products, services and actions especially dedicated to one of TMN’s strategic segments, the youngsters, namely the TMN Gust List, the showcases that launch new music projects and the summer festivals sponsored by TMN.
