TMN and Sapo mobile broadband customers will have a new tariff option available as of now: Prepay Broadband Light. After a €10 top-up, they will be entitled to unlimited traffic at 1 Mbps for a period of 10 non-consecutive hours
Portugal Telecom launches a new pay-as-you-go tariff: prepay Prepay Broadband Light for TMN and Sapo mobile broadband customers. PT adds this offer to its portfolio after having launched new Uzo broadband service.
The service is billed according to the duration of the Internet access, enabling the user to enjoy unlimited traffic within the amount of time that he has available.
With a €10 top-up (VAT included), this tariff enables the access to the mobile broadband service, without data traffic limit, at speeds up to 1 Mbps for a period of 10 hours, not necessarily consecutive.
These 10 hours may be used whenever the customer needs, for an extended period of 180 days (the validity of the service is renewed whenever a minimum amount is credited). This new tariff includes additional €5 top-ups, adding another 5 hour period for internet access automatically.
To sign up for Prepay Broadband Light, customers just need to call 1696 and ask for the change from the current tariff to Prepay Broadband Light tariff.
New customers, after acquiring a prepay broadband board with prices starting from just €49.90 (€10 credit included), should also call 1696 to activate the latest pay-as-you-go tariff.
This new tariff is additional to the other two tariffs already available: Prepay Broadband 10 and Prepay Broadband 25 that allow, through €10 and €25 top-ups respectively, internet access at speeds up to 2 Mbps with a download limit of 400 MB + 400 MB (WiFi) over a 12 day period in the first case, and 1 GB + unlimited WiFi for 30 days in the second one.
