The Sony Ericsson Spiro Quiksilver is the ideal equipment for users permanently connected to social networks, with an ear always keen to music listening. Available in the TMN Moche and TMN Kids mobile phone ranges, this TMN exclusive offers the best music experience typical of the walkman telephone range, simultaneously with Facebook and Twitter access, by the touch of a button.
This mobile phone is also equipped with TrackId, a functionality that provides access to the name of a musician or a music tune that the user is listening to at a certain location in just a few seconds. In 2009, this functionality registered 130 million searches. Highlight goes also to the iconic Walkman music reader from Sony Ericsson, the 3.5mm jack, stereo Bluetooth and FM radio for music access on the move.
In terms of design, the human curvature stands out as well as the integration of an ergonomic keyboard for easy usage. The Sony Ericsson Spiro Quiksilver has an extra back cover included, decorated with the Quiksilver pattern, illustrating the shorts of world-famous surfer Kelly Slater. TMN and surf, a consolidated link
The launch of a surf-branded mobile phone comes, within the evolution of TMN’s portfolio, as another milestone in the association of the major mobile operator to this sports discipline.
It is worth recollecting that TMN has been supporting different national and international surf events since 2007. TMN will be present until next 24 October at the Quiksilver Pro Portugal in Ericeira.
The association of TMN with surf is also materialised through the TMN Surf Team, a team composed of the following surfers of reference: Tiago Pires, Ana Sarmento, Francisca Pereira dos Santos, Joana Rocha, Frederico Morais, João Guedes and Vasco Ribeiro. The 4th edition of the TMN Saca Tour took place this year, a TMN-sponsored event gathering surf practitioners and Tiago Saca Pires, during a weekend of intensive surfing. Circa 600 youngsters took advantage of this initiative, from 2007 to 2010, aged between 10 and 16 years old.
