TMN is one of the world’s best mobile operators

TMN has just been nominated in the Best Mobile Operator category in the scope of the World Communication Awards, which means that it is placed among the world’s five best mobile operators this year.
The World Communication Awards selects each year the most innovative companies and personalities worldwide, which are responsible for the development of communications services and multimedia content that contribute decisively to the construction of the future of technology. TMN’s nomination in the Best Mobile Operator category is the recognition of its work and consolidates its leading position in the mobile communications sector in Portugal, conquered in a sustained way since its creation in March 1991.
The selection for the Best Mobile Operator category took place between 1 May 2009 and 30 April 2010. Throughout this period, TMN celebrated a few important milestones such as its 7 million customers, the leadership in the smartphone sector, the quality of its mobile broadband service and the availability of high-value products and services for customers.
In the Best Mobile Operator category, the best and most pioneering mobile operators worldwide, including MVNOs, are identified, holding business operations with national or world dimension. Performance, competitive capacity, strategic vision, innovation and customer service were but a few selection criteria for the five finalists in this category of the 2010 World Communication Awards. The awards ceremony will take place in London next November.
