PT supports renewal of the Volunteer Work Exchange

ENTREAJUDA, in partnership with CGD, launched a new website of the Volunteer Work Exchange. A renewal supported by PT that designed and developed the website through the SAPO portal.

The new website of the Volunteer Work Exchange was launched on the International Day of Volunteer Work, celebrated on 5 December. The renewal of the website was supported by Portugal Telecom through the SAPO portal that designed and developed the Volunteer Work Exchange which now has 15,000 volunteers and 800 social solidarity institutions.

The new website of the Volunteer Work Exchange will facilitate the management of volunteer work and its distribution according to the needs each moment of the institution registered in the Exchange. Four years after the launch of the first website, ENTREAJUDA, CGD and PT have decided to renew the Volunteer Work Exchange in order to make it more functional and attractive to gain more volunteers capable of supporting the needs of the needy population.
 

The new website of the Volunteer Work Exchange has a new layout, more functional and attractive, with an area containing news and events, promoting ENTREAJUDA initiatives, in integration with social networks, namely Facebook to raise the awareness of volunteer work.

ENTRAJUDA is a private social solidarity institution that aims to support other institutions in terms of organization and management, to improve their management and efficiency to benefit needy people. Its action is based on a Solidarity Chain and the conjugation and mobilization of efforts and goodwill. This Solidarity Chain is materialized through the Volunteer Work Exchange.
