Idols TV show with exclusive Meo application

As of today Meo IPTV customers (IPTV and Optical Fibre) will have access to an exclusive cost-free interactive application for Idols TV show on Interactive Meo.
Meo, in partnership with SIC and FreemantleMedia, has developed an exclusive cost-free interactive application for Idols TV show, available as of today in the Meo interactive area for Meo IPTV customers (ADSL and Optical Fibre).
This application, dedicated to one of the major audience hits of Portuguese TV, was created to become an information source on everything related to the contest – information on participants, the best moments of the castings and of the jury – always disclosing news as the contest takes its course.
In the launch phase of the new application, Meo customers gain access to promotional videos of the new program and to the “Best of 2009” as well as an area with video content on the best of the previous show: finalists, best
performances, several selection phases (Auditions, Theatre, Final Judgment), presenters and the jury.
In Portugal, the Idols TV show is presented by Cláudia Vieira and João Manzarra and is supported by a criterious jury, Roberta Medina, Manuel Moura dos Santos, Laurent Filipe and Pedro Boucherie Mendes compose the quartet of members of the jury who have the difficult task of evaluating the candidates. The program is produced for SIC channel by FremantleMedia Portugal.
This new interactive application consolidates Meo’s bet on providing its customers with a differentiating, innovative television experience in which the customer decides what he wants, how he wants and when he wants. Interactive Meo includes the best TV widgets for free, comprising apart from the Idols application, access to Sapo Videos, Sapo Photos, Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, Games or Newsstand.
