PT is for the second consecutive time among the most valuable brands in the world, according to the ranking prepared by Brand Finance.

Occupying the 373rd position and evaluated at USD 2,500 million, Portugal Telecom occupies once again a position among the companies at the world’s top. The Portuguese operator climbed from the 472nd position, nearly doubling its value compared to 2009, as it increased its value from USD 1,490 million to USD 2,500 million.

According to the consultancy, the value of the PT brand represents 12% of the value of the company, reaching an ‘AA-‘ rating, i.e. it is a strong brand taking into account factors such as risk, strength, and brand potential relative to its competitors.

The presence of Portugal Telecom among the most valuable brands on the planet demonstrates the value of its brand on the domestic market as well as its strong international presence.
