Anacom just recognised TMN as the Portuguese mobile operator with the best degree of 3G coverage and the best termination rate of 3G voice and videotelephony calls in conurbations. These conclusions are the result of the study conducted by Anacom to assess mobile network quality.

This recent Anacom study demonstrates TMN’s leadership that usually has the best 3G coverage, namely in the main thoroughfares, reaching 86.9%, the highest value among all operators.

Anacom’s study also concluded that TMN is the operator that guarantees the best videotelephony call termination rate, also being the best at voice call terminations in conurbations, including Greater Lisbon.

These results reflect the position of leadership of the mobile operator which has been permanently contributing to the improvement of the quality of the network and services, visible not only in terms of voice and videotelephony, but also in Mobile Broadband.

It is worth recollecting that TMN was distinguished this year for the second consecutive time as a Trusted Brand (Selections of the Reader’s Digest), and, in 2009, as the Best Mobile Broadband Access (PC Guia magazine) and as the Best Performing Network (Anacom).
