Sustainability committee
PT corporate sustainability is assured by the Sustainability Committee according to a plan and the commitments assumed for each year of activity
The responsibilities of the Committee are:
- To assure the creation, within the company, of conditions deemed necessary for sustained growth, taking into consideration the three dimensional vision, economic, social and environmental areas, according to the international criteria;
- To develop, promote and monitor the projects and actions deemed necessary to comply with triple bottom line;
- To identify, define and control the best teams to carry out the projects;
- To strengthen the performance of the PT Foundation, within its specific performance areas, namely citizenship and philanthropy;
- To assure internal and external communication by reinforcing the performance of the Group as a recognized sustainable company;
- To control and assess the action plan established and integrated within the sustainability strategy.
The Committee is integrated in the Governance model of PT, reporting directly to the Executive Committee.
